He was a music fellow at the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome. He also received numerous creative grants (Fordham University, NYU, and Acci\u00f3n Cultural Espa\u00f1ola from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs). He was an Artist-in-Residence (Molokai Arts Center in Hawaii and Elsewhere Studios in Colorado), Fellow-in-Residence (Chulitna Lodge Research Institute in Alaska) and Scholar-in-Residence (Aoyama University in Tokyo).<\/span><\/p>\n

He has performed as a conductor and pianist across the US and the EU in theaters such as Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Symphony Space, and the Guggenheim Museum in New York, as well as the Konzerthaus in Vienna and auditoriums throughout Spain. He performs regularly at the Manuel de Falla Auditorium in Granada, where he conducts the Granada Academic Orchestra and the Ancora Ensemble. He is a frequent collaborator of the Federico Garc\u00eda Lorca House-Museum \u201cHuerta de San Vicente\u201d in Granada, where he has accompanied the singer Sole\u00e1 Morente in the show \u201cNanas.\u201d He has coordinated projects to recover Spanish musical heritage in Italy (\u201cSpagna e la notte in music,\u201d Teatro Machiavelli in Catania) and the US (\u201cMusic and Politics in the Time of Goya\u201d at the Hispanic Society\/Queen Sofia Institute, \u201cSpanish Musical Dislocations\u201d at Jazz at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and \u201cSpanish Musical Deconstructions\u201d at Symphony Space in New York).
